Inspiration in Everyday Things

I was scouring the web this afternoon and stumbled upon a beautiful collage of images that inspired me. It occurred to me how everyday objects that are beautiful, funny or even just interesting can spark a great party theme. 

Fireflies

Here are a few things that have recently inspired me:

 
  • A beautiful photograph of an orchid.
  • My son riding his shiny orange bicycle.
  • A hummingbird floating gracefully by my flower beds.
  • A candlelit jar on a cool end-of-summer night.

You can take any of these everyday things and focus an entire theme around it when party planning. Sometimes the best parties are inspired by the simple things.
